Hey ho! If you remember me I was the tall skinny guy with specs at Doujicon. How’s it going? Hopefully your con weekend was good – we only sold like 10 comics all day, but had fun & made some cool contacts (like your goodself :]). Anyhoo – I have a request of my fellow arteests out there. As the only artist we have on Foolproof has decided to give it away & go solo – it means we are left with more stories left to tell but no-one to illustrate them!! After a half-year unemployment & of course the fact that indy aussie comics is SO non-profitable it isn’t funny – I am way unable to pay, but I am hopeful that you may able to help me out with some drawing-goodness! I hope so – I’d hate to let it all die away without trying my damndest to get some help from – quite frankly – some of the best artist folks I have seen at a con (yes that’s slightly crawly, but it is however true). If you could PLEASE consider doing up a story for us – I would be LUDICROUSLY thankful.
I would of course provide FULL credits & contact details when I collate them into our next anthology. It’s the SUBURBANKNIGHTS – superhero parody – I can provide character pics & backgrounds & all scripts are already in page/ panel format OR Gru Crew – demon-chicken hunters. Let me know!
PS – deadline (coz its handy to have one) would be… hmmm… My birthday is Dec 30th
Although anything I can collate for Armageddon/ Supernova in Oct would be so awesome.
